A '71 Mach I to be precise.
Cost me $4600. The person was asking $4800 but they went down.
I'm probably gonna end up having to dump another $10k into this before it's 100% perfectly finished. But it'll be worth it. Considering these things can command huge amounts of money when they're in amazing condition.
Heres the color up close because the picture:
1. Doens't do it justice
2. The hood is a different color than the rest of the car
Okay the main thing I NEED on the interior is the rest of the back seat.
What I mean by this is that the back seat folds down flat and theres a "trap door" that goes into the trunk.
Going from something like this
To this
Now whats up with this is:
1. That "trap door" I can get cheap. And by cheap I mean like $100-150.
2. The plastic parts around the "trap door" together are going to cost about $350.
3. The rest of the fold down part (shown in the second picture) is gonig to end up costing me nearly $1000.
So with carpet and all that inside (JUST the carpet and sound deadener for under the carpet) along with the aforementioned parts, it'd cost me roughly $1,700 unless I find cheaper stuff for it.

Is the close up of the sidepanels or the hood? I do love those glittery speckles, looks like it glows in direct sunlight, yeah? Hope it doesn't cost 10k to restore it, I'm sure there's a lot there that will out last both of us.
You drive it yet? Looks like it handles like a school bus, by the size of those front tires.

Thats the rear fender near the back window.
I'll admit that I DO like the color. But it seriously needs to be repainted. So I might either get it repainted THAT color or that Acapulo Blue. MAYBE Grabber Green haha. I WILL NOT paint it the original yellow it was. I don't like yellow cars. They look "off" to me.
Interior alone might end up costing me $1-2k. I need to get everything else for the back seat to fold down though I have the entire actual seat portion. I'm missing some panels in the trunk area and need carpet. Carpet for THAT is going to cost like $170-200 (I checked) and those panels are going to cost about $300 for both. So that along with whatever else I need for interior (which doesn't look like a ton because I have all the door panel stuff and don't need anything else for the doors) is going to cost me already nearly $1000. Paint and getting the rest of the body work done is going to be what I'll end up sinking most of the money into. It'll look like one sharp as hell car when it's done though. Thats for sure.
I haven't driven it myself. But I saw it driving around and it looks like it handles pretty well. I need to get plates and insurance on it and am going to see if I can go get plates on Friday. Going with antique ones so I don't end up paying a lot.
