I haven't had a ton of time to check that stuff the past couple days....
That sucks :/ hope you get that fixed. My car (Riviera) was having some issues last night so I don't know if I'll be taking that to work tomorrow. A light popped up on my instrument panel about my brakes. Apparently there are 2 different brake systems in the car and when one or both go out the light comes on. You CAN drive and stop properly with only one but it's safer to have both. So I was driving slow on the way home last night so to avoid an accident. Luckily for me there weren't a lot of people out (I got out of work at almost 11. it's a long story...) so it's not like I was being passed and had people mad at me.
I also went to Walmart to get stuff at like midnight (got a copy of Rush's first album on CD for $5)
Nah, you really can't ask for tips, since the guests will hardly ever see you... certainly hope you get regular pay increases |: Oh well, this will be be your first real paycheck job, yeah?

I was in the housekeeping "break room" last night and noticed some envelopes that were for tips. So I guess you DO get tips sometimes. I got checks from doing papers. But this'll be my first from a legit job.
Yeah I can see that.....though my dad got to look at it this morning and he's guessing that there might be a hole in one of the lines or something.
Tip envelopes, sure sounds great, just make sure every room has one, tucked off to the side (or where company policy would have you leave them...)

Well from what I've seen they usually have em sitting on nightstands in the rooms. And I'm assuming that when they guests check out someone goes in and gets them.
Yeah......well hopefully we can get that shit fixed. The lighter outlet thing in it recently started working. So I can how plug my car charger in it and not worry about my phone dying because it wasn't able to charge. I can also use the GPS Chelsea lent me to use to drive up there! Though I NEED to get my car fixed before I do any extensive driving in it. Hell I had to take a van up to Starved Rock Saturday because of the brake problems I was having. So I'm most likely going to have to do that all this week and maybe next week if my car isn't fixed by then.
Well I sure hope that someone (who collects tip envelopes) is you! Still no word on pooling tips... guess it's better to chill until you're done with 'probation', and prove tot he other cleaning ladies, your worth your weight....
Where the hell is it leaking? Are there many stops you have to make before you get there? I've had to drive with leaky brakes before, it's not fun, but the gas stations sure made a buck on all the little dot 3 containers I bought |: Be nice if it was a small split or hole, where you could just put a piece of rubber and a hose clamp on it, for the time being.
I'm assuming that only the people who work with rooms in the mornings get envelopes .-. So no tips for me....eh oh well. Counting tomorrow I worked 4 days this week and got in 30 hours. So.....like $255 or something like that before anything is taken out. And thats JUST for this week. I worked 3 days last week. So I'm curious as to how much I'll be getting.

You can't find the leak?! Maybe there's just some air that got in the line or something... I'd think you'd be able to tell from the brake fluid smell alone.... it's probably just outside of the master cylinder, somewhere nasty, other side of the firewall maybe ._.
Well we haven't gotten to look at it really at all. So thats mainly why. My dad's been working on getting his Hawk in 100% driving condition. All he needs now is to get the body panels he ordered on the car and get the trunk stuff he bought in there and it'll be "done" for the most part.
My dad thinks it MAY be leaking around a brake cylinder.
Broads and brake cylinders are not to be taken lightly. What sucks is: work. Not a good time to play doctor with an ailing car... but at least you got wheels. I drove around with a badish leak in my Celebrity for months |: Got to see the insides of a lot of gas station convenience stores :p One air got into the line... yeah, had to ask Pop for help to diagnose where (for certain) the leak was.
Well at the moment I'm driving my dad's other van. It runs fine but the ac needs to be worked on. Something about it needing to be charger or something. I don't remember. But other than that it's fine. And when I get my car fixed I can drive that instead of wasting my dad's gas.
Ya know....some of that reminds me of stuff I've uploaded.....But I like it.
AC needs to be charged; the refrigerant and oil needs to be sucked out and new stuff put in, at a proper volume/pressure. Condensation sucks.

Well, one of the medals is shooting a poster in lvl 3 I think, there;s a guy that takes up the bottom right hand corner of the screen, the poster is above his shoulder. The other medal is another poster, I think...
Well I'd probably end up having my dad have a look at it because he knows how to do that shit. Though I dunno when he'd be able to do it.

Nah day on. I'm on day 4 of 4 straight days of working. Then tomorrow I have the day off. And then work Wednesday-Friday and then again on Sunday.
So woo for me I guess.
Also Chelsea is down in Mexico with her mom and grandma and she has a stomach infection so she is sick at the moment. Though shes feeling better for the most part now. And shes coming back up here on I wanna say next Tuesday.

No tips yet?! :\ Considering the price of a room, yeah, it's customary to leave at least 3 bucks :| I'd recommend putting 2 Andes mints on the pillow, but with cabins and critters.... bring it up with management, after you've been there a while.. maybe put a little sign at reception "Is the room clean and tidy?" then list the tipping rates. I'm sure there's a tipping website out there, that lists what part of the world, service, rates... or none, some places don't accept tips. Guess you do live in a cheap part of the world.

Yeah I guess. But the chat being gone doesn't really effect me so...yeah ._. I pretty much JUST went on there during Pico Day stuff and went there the first couple days it was a thing. And after last year's Pico Day I was on there for a day or so afterwards but didn't come back and really only went on there if I accidentally clicked the button.

Well I'm not entirely sure if we even get tips or not. So...no not yet. At the moment I'm doing training stuff. I had my first day yesterday and then I go again tomorrow and thats for training too. Then next week I start actual work but I get paid for Wednesday when I was there for like an hour for orientation stuff and for training. And yesterday I was there for about 7 hours. So since I get $8.25 I'd be getting...$57.75 and about the same amount tomorrow but I'll most likely be there til 11 so it'd be about $66. But thats before taxes and shit. And then I'd probably have 2 days next week so I'd be getting a bit over $200 for roughly 4 days of work. Which isn't bad. And then after I wanna say a 90 day probation period my pay goes up to $8.50 an hour. Anyways. I don't really want to have a thing asking for tips. I don't wanna risk possibly losing my job like right after I get it.
