Shit what happened, water burned something out? You got one of those central units right, the square thing on a slab outside? Us attic dwellers have got it rough. Maybe get one of those turbo dual/triple fan things for the window, I'm turning mine on right now, even though it does sometimes interfere with my aluminum signal reflector and the signal itself...

I guess it might have. Yeah we have that. And I'd use something like that. But I don't have an open window (especially in my room) where I could put that as one window is directly behind my TV and the other is right next to my bed.

Yeah, that's in the past, and should never be revisited. So what, put a fan in the window by your bed... I hardly ever sleep with my fan on anyway, it's just for cheap cooling when the outside temp goes below 70. Is the a/c gonna get fixed soon, maybe don't even bother...

I kinda can't. I'd be pretty much sleeping with that on me since it's directly next to my pillow because my bed is against the wall.
I have no idea. And I kinda want it fixed soon cause it's been constantly in the high 80s and low 90s. And I don't know about everyone else in my house but I don't wanna burn up just sitting in here for a couple minutes.

Life sucks huh? I hate vacuuming wet carpet :p Do they allow you to use a vacuum cleaner, or does some else go in after you? Sometimes they split up work like that to speed things up, it does too: one guy does BR's for the day, another vacuums, keeps things fresh.

Yeah? I do all the vacuuming and all that stuff myself. I was alone today doing "Publics" and then there was someone in Laundry. I have a list of things I need to get done for the day and for the past few times I've actually been getting done early. So I tend to go into the laundry room (where there are no cameras) and sit and wait til it's time for me to clock out. I actually DO do a lot more than it seems like I do. But I just manage to get it all done kinda quickly....

Nope. Thats what the Housemen and morning Housekeepers do.
I: take out garbage in the housekeeping break room, straighten out the "Great Hall" which is a big room with a bunch of couches and a fireplace and whatnot, and vacuum. In addition to that I clean: 8 different bathroom, 4 offices, 4 stairwells (3 of which go up to the 3rd floor and one only to the 2nd), 2 elevators, vacuum stones in the lobby, and constantly have to restock towels in the pool area. And on top of that I have to do "calls" where I go and take pillows, sheets, towels, or anything like that to guests in their rooms. And we DON'T have smoking rooms. The entire building is no smoking. You can smoke on the premises. But you have to be at least 15 feet away from a door to get inside the building.

Dude you have like the head housekeeper's job! That's a lot of ground to cover, you been handling it okay? I bet the staff finds all kinds of things that need doing, unless you were given a rather comprehensive talking to the 1st day.... sounds like the responsibilites are mixed, try not to do other ppl's jobs, or you might get stuck with them, but after a while arrangements can be made to reduce running around...

8 BR's though...you mean 8 toilet and sinks, 8 single BR's spread around? That's still a lot of toilet lids to wipe under :| Once you get settled, snap a picture of one of them, just so I can see how hard it is to clean. Hope the spray cleaner isn't too nasty, and there isn't an Airwick system, those will fuck you up man

Yeah I guess. And it's fine. I just got back home and got time and a half today since it's a holiday. So instead of making $8.50 an hour I made $12.75 And since I worked 7 hours I got almost $90 today instead of it only being about $59.50 like any other day I work til 11.

The only time I got paid time and a half, I didn't get it, till almost a month later :| I was gonna use the money to buy an electric on-demand water heater... I slept most of the day, since it was finally cool outside.

Oh....well they have a thing on the computers that logs when you work so it immediately knows that I worked that time and is going to put it on my next check. The last one I got (on Thursday since the banks weren't open on the 4th) was for like $400. And thats more than I've gotten in my last checks. So I'm probably gonna get more on my next one because I work 5 days this work week (the work week for them is Monday-Sunday not Sunday-Saturday which I find weird).

Tom and the rest of the staff are "tweaking" the feed stuff and now we're more or less stuck with this and they're gonna be working on tweaking it. Hopefully it wont be as much of a massive clusterfuck as it is now. But then again I have a bunch of "friends" on here so thats probably why it's so bad for me and most likely even worse for Steve.

Yeah.....though to help you can click that little gear icon thingy in your feed and it'll let you hide stuff from your feed so you don't get "interactions" whenever someone reviews something or whatever.
