I am a calm laid back individual who is usually asleep. But when I'm not its hard to tell I'm not trying to be asleep. I play guitar/bass in my spare time. And listen to various genres of music. Predominately metal and rock.

Mah Birthday ._.

Posted by Viper - March 17th, 2014

Woo I'm offically 21 now. Yippie for me. I can technically drink legally now. But I don't really want to. Doesn't sound all that appealing to me to be honest.

Not much else to say I guess. My last post was up for nearly 4 months and not a whole lot happened from then til now. Other than I have a girlfriend now. We've been "going out" since like mid-February but we weren't officially going out til March 8th.

We went on a short birthday date thingy on Saturday because she lives like 2 hours away from here and can only come over on the weekends. We went bowling and ate lunch at Wendy's (haha). Then I came back home and she gave me a dozen Red Velvet cupcakes that she made for me. I still have like 3 left. And on Saturday I have a birthday party to go to for my Grandma. Who I happen to share my birthday with. Though the party is pretty much just for her. Though we were told that we can still bring a cake or whatever for me too.

Yeah, a lot of cars have one name in the world, except America, they always seem to change the name and sometimes styling here, from other parts of the globe. In the 80's, some guys would order body parts from Europe, just to look a little different. Back then, you could get a beater car really cheap, my first car was 50$, the second was 200$...third was 400$ (you see the trend)

Radio shouldn't be too bad... unless Radio Shack doesn't sell radio wiring harnesses for particular cars anymore... which seems likely :| Ick, I hate mouse nests, they like to die there, and leave little pieces of brown rice everywhere (that may or may not have Hunta virus)

And some car companies don't send certain models over here either. Like Chevy has the Opala which is exclusive to South America. Ford has the Taunus and the Anglia. And so on and so forth.

Yeah I guess. Though I still need to get in there and see if I can assess the damages and see if it's something as simple as reconnecting or replacing a wire.

i would wish you a happy birthday, but it's all downhill from here.

Yeah I kinda figured ._.
Thanks anyways I guess.

A new song! Hell has froze over! Someone catching up to your audio submission record?
Sounded great, but it scragged the mic. Maybe put a sock over the mic, and turn the monitor/amp side ways, so it doesn't dumbly vibrate the mic. And maybe turn down the gain on the mic... worked well for me, shooting bands in bars.

Yeah hahaha. I was bored and decided to record something.
I guess? I have a shit ton of stuff that I could submit right now if I wanted to.

Yeah I know....I was using my webcam mic so thats why it turned out like that. I got a new webcam so hopefully it sounds at least a little better sound quality wise.

Doesn't take much to get a crappy mic to work well, provided you can tweak with things.

Yeah I suppose you're right.
Also, when ya gonna change back to your Asterix icon? Its weird seeing that Tank man icon....

Yeah, I be switching back soon. I was just trying to figure out the weirdness last night/this morning. Hey! http://xxthumbsuckerxx.newgrounds.com/ is alive, as of 2 minutes ago...

Ah. If you go into General look for the thread titled "This Is Bullshit" it will explain everything.
Oh hey she is.

Oh, yeah, I saw the thread, lurked it quite extensively, and posted my 2 cents worth... which usually degrades my general post quality, I'm sure....

I see....well lets see what happens.
Mine hasn't changed since I changed it back last night.

Yours got changed too? To what, default or some Pokemon?

Nah. When they were initially being changed al lot of em were changed to a picture of Conal. Then a bit of time passed and a lot of them got changed to Pokemon. Which is whats happening now.
Though Tom and a couple other people got theirs changed to Furry stuff.

Tom's furry picture looks awfully familiar...
O_< one of our friends has a birthday today.............

Yeah......
You mean damitrin?

Yup, dammit-dami herself.

I see.

I'd have baked a caek, but she's so secretive about her whereabouts. Odds are she'll say she blew out one candle and ate 35 waffles and half a gallon of ice cream.... that would sounds about right for her.

Brendon confirmed it was an exploited loophole, that's since been fixed. I just whoever figured out the loophole didn't do anything else....

Hmm...that DOES sound a lot like her.

I hope so too....does anyone know who exactly exploited that and caused all of it to happen? Or is it all hush hush?

Ooh, a legendary model! With a reputation as much for class as reliability, said to handle all types or weather and terrain without falter (at least that's what I read in an old Modesty Blaise comic). I wouldn't mind having one of those too in my non-existent collection...

Don't think I've seen a Lark before, looks compactly elegant. Chevrolet Biscayne is pretty pompous, Studebakers are awesome. Not so sure about the Buick Riviera but I guess it'd be practical, strange how all cars visually flipped out around the eighties...

It IS a pretty nice looking car. And I can honestly say that I wouldn't have one of those either. Or maybe a Silver Cloud III.

I guess it does. I get told it's an "old person's car" and someone mistook it for a Rambler. Which is understandable I suppose. I can agree a bit for the Biscayne. Though I was the one who convinced my dad to buy it. Also Studebakers are pretty awesome.

I suppose it'd be because they needed to have mildly more fuel efficient cars since the ones before then weren't exactly the best when it came to gas consumption.....but thats just my 2 cents.

Oh yeah, it looks awesome too, as does Silver Cloud III, as do pretty much all their models!!

Pompous is just another word for awesome in my vocabulary. :D Nice.

Maybe that too, but I think it had more to do with production costs. Older cars mustv'e been pretty expensive to produce with all their attention to detail; curves, the 80-90 era was a bit square.

Yeah most all of their models DO look pretty cool. I don't know why but that reminds me about how Studebaker and Porsche teamed up and made a single car together ._. Though I don't remember what happened to the prototype. Might be in the "Studebaker Prototype Graveyard" over in I wanna say South Bend, Indiana. What they did was they took a shit ton of their prototype cars and dumped them in the woods. It's unimaginably dangerous to attempt to go in there because there are now a bunch of venomous snakes that live in there.

Yeah thats more than likely a big reason for that too. Granted they were still using actual metal then, it seems as though they started using more and more plastics and fiberglass then too. Which in turn made the cars A LOT lighter, easier to mass produce, and also made them a lot less durable.

The art of fenders officially died when they made unleaded gas, and catalytic converters mandatory in the States. Still remember when my Ma's 71 Chevy Nova 4 dr ran out of gas on the way to the movie theater in the late 70's.

When did they make unleaded gas and catalytic converters mandatory exactly?

Hey, I got a birthday thread for gamejunkie in General, could you and @cyberdevil say something (nice, naughty)?

Yeah I saw (even though this is 5 days late....sorry) and posted in there.

@VicariousE I don't know what to say! :O Generically traditional greeting's a granted though.

Yeah I wasn't entirely sure what to say either haha.

@cyberdevil just hoping for at least 2-3 pages of warm regards.... The guys who work the EGB deserve a bit of credit (which I failed to work into the initial post)

Well you got 2 pages ._.
(sorry if the replys start to seem kinda "sloppy" I'm a bit tired and sick)

Happy Easter to you and your family... and your GF's family as well.

Thanks. I'll tell her that you said this.

(ahem)
I just got roped into hauling wegra up to the party, shoot me now.

Oh....why is that exactly?

SO are you slowly going to answer these?
Sorry to hear your under the weather, must be that new plague going around, captain trips they call it

Yeah I am.
Ah thats fine. I really don't know why I got sick but I've had a really bad sore throat all day and was coughing a lot. I'm feeling a bit better now. Though thats probably because I took some DayQuil earlier today and ended up passing out at like 6.

In and around 1978, they started that.... Knights sent me this in Chat! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clair_Cameron_Patterson Old intel to me... sounded so familiar when he brought it up. Thx for bumping, he's a good dude, our superior officer.

Ah, wegra PMed me. He wanted me to take him up there, and I told him it was a private party... blahblahtomblahblahwegraX15PM'sandcounting now I have to waster half an hour getting him and putting him up for the night. He never said please or thank you |: just kept asking me. Th fuck?!

Ah. So thats the dude who was responsible for all of that stuff....

So did he ever ask Tom if he could go to it?
