My parents took me to a diner, in what used to be a thriving area.... I wuz about 8 and pretty shy. I followed my parents into the mini foyer, where they had two games, when a slightly older kid tries to turn me... I almost made it to the door when the kid grabs my arm and swings me around - I was scared but not panicky.
"Listen... this game was set to 'free' by the kid who collects the money. 2 little kids came in and I just let em keep walkin', so keep this hush hush."
The game was Donkey Kong, and the kid's story was extremely concise - He said he got the info from a teen who new the tech/bag-man, and he passed it on to him.
My third trip back, fucked it up I think... I might have spyed him walking by our table with an angry faec, but not unkind... I poo-pooed the deal, I think he wanted another go - I was dead sick of it the third time, but I was hungy too... someone may have timed my jaunts and finally made someone look at the screen.
I miss the days of random encounters, with an elaborate discourse... kids and adults these days, are SO FUCKING THICK >:( PONY UP SOME STORIES :P
i dont have that many interesting stories...i mean i do but i dont know how i can share them...

No, she got it right, but to have stories, you gotta get out either with friends or just yourself. I used to love trying to get lost. I'd drive for 15 20 minutes past where I knew how to get back home. That's when the real you in the real world can blossom.
