My bad. When I was reporting for TV I was lot more factually accurate (though I misspelled 2 things in the on-screen text, for my show, not the other guy's)
Let's just say we "lazily paraphrased" and take the hit like men.
Actually, I never got paid to report so maybe I was a journalist or an early vblogger or something.

I'm right here! And being an independent TV reporter in the 20th century doesn't mean beans these days. Big media polices their content and wouldn't have allowed my work in their building, let alone air it. Ever see They Live? Same thing.... "I came here to kick ass and chew bubblegum..."

It was a videotape era! Plus I was usually the one shooting, because everyone sucked at videoing things! Prime example - 90% of youtube videos done by people SUCK... no composition, crap audio, lighting...

The first one was clipped from cast shot on a very old digicam.
The second one was clipped from the show's opening bumper (me in hat and mickey mouse shirt) shot from a TV, onto an old cheap digicam.
Lousy right? Can't help it. I have a commercial 3/4" U-Matic tape player, but the audio/video output's on a BNC, so it's picture only... If I had my shit digitized, I would've swallowed my pride and made an YouToob account just to get it out there.
