my little brothers had the same phone since he was 10 and its still perfectly fine and in those 5 years ive needed about 10 or 12 new phones : I hes a magical little gay dude :P

my brother had his phone for like 2 weeks then he destroyed the back of it

It seems like batteries were made pretty good around the turn of the century; now they peter out pretty quick. Has something to do with rare earth metal availability; most of it's in China or the Congo, both pretty screwed up places. Glad y'all got new microwave transmitters.
Yeah funny things happen while your busy eg: phone in the phire. My Pop lost his first mobile phone in a septic tank when he bent over to take a look; the battery discharged onto the board. If it didn't die, I'm sure he would've cleaned it up and would still be using it. He just lost his handicapped placard by mixing it in w/ his mail. Wonder where that's at now...
yeah they were better...and they do. i had my phone sitting out doing nothing and the battery was pretty much dead. and i checked it like 5 hours ago and the battery was over halfway charged.
