Most movies do not capture my interest. Scientific documentaries and educational material are things I'd rather watch.

what if its half movie half educational documentary?
1) like they start the revolution and then they talk about the evolution of different languages and stuff like that and explains the silent letters and the main thor like character still wants to get rid of silent letters so

Linguistics, and history do not interest me. Language is simply a way to communicate with each other. There is nothing abnormal about it. The precision of language can be helpful if you wish to speak to other creatures, but it is only useful to a certain degree. There are many languages, and no matter what language you speak, there are still people that you are unable to communicate with. In fact, if we have not advanced so much as a species, there would be no purpose for language.
History is simply a retelling of complex events through the collection and distribution of facts. History is simply a collection of events. Nothing more. It is a useless field by itself. However, by analyzing the past, we may learn things. By studying the culture, and environment of the people in the past, we can make new discoveries in psychology, evolution, and many other fields.

However, semi-instructional films are simply distractions. Information is not complex. Therefore, it should be explained in the quickest and simplest way possible. There is no reason to complicate things.

american revolution, french revolution, mexican revolution, bolshevik revolution, industrial revolution, xinhai revolution, the roman slave rebellion (its kinda like a revolution and was led by spartacus), and so on and so forth

Why revolt? Why not change your vocabulary? I see no reason in placing so many resources in such an insignificant movement. It does not benefit our survival, and does not make our lives easier in any way. This does not interest me.

and only watching movies that you consider "useful" makes no sense,you learn with everything you watch,see or hear.
if the movie doesnt have an interesting story you should try finding something that is interesting about it,such as image,effects,good acting.

No, history is but a recording of detail. It presents us with nothing whatsoever. I am not concerned with abstract ideas. There is only the universe, particles, and such. Things such as the soul, the afterlife, and anything else that cannot be observed does not exist. History is not a universal constant, and therefore it is meaningless. Why should I be concerned with the past of human beings?

your limited ideas will limit your capacity of thinking.to discover new things (so that we can prove their existence) your imagination works to find logic that will lead you to new discoveries.from observing light,it was discovered that light can make a curve.but to know that first they imagined the reason for light to be seen "oh it must be making a curve" then they tried finding out if it really could make a curve.that came from imagining that it could be possible for it to make curves.
therefore,if light curve cant be observed,in your logic,it does not exist,neither does oxygen or many other gases.
knowing history is important.humanity is all around you and you cant escape from it.knowing history will make human behavior predictable and allow evolving.of course youre not concerned with the evolution of human beings,but,you should be concerned with the evolution of the self.you probably want to be better than you were an year ago.and for example if your grandfather had cancer and your father had cancer too,itll create a higher probability of you having cancer.learning your family's history youll know they had cancer,why they had cancer and how to not have cancer like they did.nothing is meaningless,nothing is inexistent.what changes is how it exists and is perceived by our eyes.

I'm quite certain he was referring to human history. After all, if you only care for the workings of the universe, why bother learning about the spontaneous events of history? History is but a recording of human stupidity, and despite 10,000+ years of human civilization, we have gotten no where as species. Regardless, history can be greatly important. Within history, everything is hidden. Battle strategies, science, philosophy. If you wish to live as I do, history is vital to your existence.

and if you're really interested in universe history your be interested to know that scientist are close to getting the god particle then they'd know more about the universe and all that fun stuff
